License activation
Activate MyShell
Activate with your license key or a 6-digit email code from your Paddle checkout.
If MyShell did not open, copy the key and paste it in MyShell → Settings → License.
Enter your Paddle checkout email. We send a 6-digit code, then open MyShell to verify and activate on this device.
- Click Send code — check your inbox (valid 10 minutes).
- Click Open MyShell — the app opens on the Email code tab.
- Enter the 6-digit code in MyShell and tap Verify and activate.
- Open MyShell on this device.
- Go to Settings → License.
- Paste your license key into the field (or use Open in MyShell above).
- Click Activate and wait for the licensed status to appear.
- Restart MyShell if cloud features do not refresh immediately.
Subscription active
MyShell Cloud is active
Your subscription is linked to your Desktop license. No new license key is needed.
- Open MyShell on a device with your Desktop license already activated.
- Make sure you used the same email as your Desktop purchase at checkout.
- Cloud sync and hosted AI turn on after the app refreshes entitlements (usually within a minute).
- If features stay off, quit and reopen MyShell, or sign out and back in under Settings → License.
Don't have a Desktop license yet? Buy Desktop first, activate with your key, then subscribe to MyShell Cloud.
